Some pieces are made for many. This one is made for one.
A bridal celebration. A honeymoon. A gathering in Ramadan. A gift for someone dear — or no occasion at all, only the wish for something that exists once. Rarities is shaped around the moment that matters to you: the date, the colours, the fabric no one else will wear.
Every story has its fabric. We are here to help you find it.
The journey
The consultation — We listen to the occasion, the date, the colours, and what moves you. Before anything begins, a written outline is placed in your hands.
The fabric — We present a selected few: from the fabrics already in our care, or sought across the world for you alone.
The approval — Once chosen, the fabric is held in your name and withdrawn from our collection. It will not be offered to another client.
The making — Your piece is made by hand in Fès, by the artisans behind every Madaas pair, step by step.
Madaas was born in Al Ain. Its pieces are made in Fès, where leather has been worked by hand for centuries. A heritage worth carrying deserves hands that know it.
The arrival — Inspected, wrapped in packaging prepared for it, and delivered to you.
Two paths
Should you choose from the fabrics already in our care, your piece arrives within four to six weeks.
Should you wish for a fabric sought especially for you, the journey extends to eight to twelve weeks. What is chosen with care deserves its time.
Timelines are counted from the date the fabric is approved. For an occasion with a fixed date, we ask that you come to us [three] months before.
The price
Rarities begin at AED 1,500, from the fabrics already in our care.
Where a fabric is sought especially for you, commissions begin at AED 2,500. The fabric itself is confirmed once found, as no search is quite like another.
For a gathering of six or more, sharing one fabric: from AED 950 a pair.
Every price is set out in full in your written outline, before anything is held.
Before you begin
The reservation — Your fabric is held upon approval with a payment of half the value; the remainder is settled before dispatch. As the fabric is withdrawn for you alone, this first payment is not refundable once it is held.
The commitment — Each Rarities piece is made for one client, from a fabric that will not repeat. For this reason, Rarities orders cannot be returned or exchanged. We confirm your size together before anything is cut.
For a gathering — Where a commission dresses a group — a henna night, a bridal party, a Ramadan table — one fabric may be shared among you. It will be offered to no one beyond your gathering.
Sizing — If this is your first piece from Madaas, we send a fitting pair before the fabric is approved, or welcome you for a fitting in Al Ain. Your size is certain before we begin.
Availability — We accept [twelve] Rarities commissions each season.
